Community Guidelines

The comment section exists so Christians — and honest seekers — can think through these questions together. It works when people engage with charity, clarity, and humility. These guidelines exist to protect that.

"Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."

— Colossians 4:6

01

Be respectful

Treat every person in this community as someone made in the image of God — including those you strongly disagree with. Critique ideas, not people. No personal attacks, insults, or contemptuous language.

02

Stay on topic

Comments should engage with the question or article being discussed. Off-topic discussions, promotional content, and spam will be removed.

03

Back up your claims

If you disagree with an answer, explain why — and ideally cite Scripture or a credible source. "You're wrong" is not a contribution. A well-reasoned counter-argument is.

04

Distinguish essentials from secondary matters

Christians hold strong views on many things. Some are non-negotiable (the Trinity, the resurrection, salvation through Christ). Others are matters of honest disagreement (baptism mode, end times, worship style). Treat them accordingly.

05

No proselytizing for non-Christian beliefs

This is a Christian Q&A platform. Thoughtful questions from non-Christians are welcome. Using the comments to promote Islam, atheism, or other worldviews as superior is not.

06

No hate speech or discrimination

Comments that demean people based on race, gender, nationality, or background will be removed immediately and the account banned.

07

Don't post personal information

Never share your own or anyone else's personal contact information, address, or private details in comments.

08

Flag, don't fight

If you see a comment that violates these guidelines, use the flag button. Don't respond with hostility — that rarely helps and often makes things worse.

Enforcement

Comments that violate these guidelines will be removed. Repeated violations will result in a ban. We aim to be consistent and fair — not punitive.

Moderation decisions are made by the editorial team. If you believe a comment was removed in error, contact us and we'll review it.
